What was the job
In this co-op placement I was tasked as the sole graphic designer for the company. I would receive a number of tasks to complete in a specified time frame each week. The tasks differed, but the main type was in the form of social media posts, both formatted for LinkedIn and Instagram. To do so I was required to stick to the brands guidelines and take the copy that was given to me and utilize everything at my disposal to create a cohesive, legible social media post design. Post types included, event announcement's, Employee weekly quotes, Informational posts, Hiring campaigns, and call to actions for company blog pages.

Gif
When planning the gif I wanted to make sure each showed off the points of interest illustrated in the letters. The animations to me add to the explorations and sight seeing aspects of the route itself. The first letter is the start of the route as the last is the end of it.

Project / Task
In a team of five we were given a project to create an interactive game using processing, and with the help of leap motion technology. After some brainstorming we decided on a simple game that the user would be able to control with the movement of the their hand by using
Leap Motion.
Contribution / Role
As a group we had to decide on each of our roles with the project. My role was the main artist/designer. I created the scrolling background (on the left), text, and main and side characters final designs(below). Everyone in the group also worked together during weekly meetings to brainstorm each aspect of the game and it's developing mechanics. In the end I am very happy with how the final product turned out, as well as the excellent group dynamics we were able to practice.
